Did rory do alot of filming with matchstick this year or has his knee injury kept him out for a second season?

his opening segment in the hit list was what pulled me into freeskiing. dont say nothin by the roots, paired with some of the sickest all around shit. Hes definatly one of the best. hope he comes up with something solid this year
 
rory does a lot of backflips. beyond that i don't think he is that special. don't get me wrong he is exciting to watch, but he just doesn't bring much to skiing. my opinion, don't get pissed
 
i think you need to watch Pull, or Push, and then tell me that. and actually any of his segments in past movies proves you so wrong over and over again(not just push), no trying to get mean, but i doubt you have seen much of his skiing, otherwise there is no way you could say he just does backflips, bc he also throws down a huge bag of tricks in the backcountry (not just park like most skiers), and charges some pretty sick lines, while still being an impressive park skier.
 
I own Push (and Pull, I wrote a review in the review section when it came out). He is fun to watch, but he just jumps off stuff and does backflips in every movie, every time. He is crazy and pretty exciting to watch, but he just hucks his his meat everywhere. kinda stupid fun i guess.
 
He was one of the reasons I got more into freeskiing. So many sick shots and his bridge jumping is controlled insanity. Isn't he dating Sarah Burke too? Props Rory, Props.
 
Im agreeing with you on this one. His tricks are sick, but he has very little inovation or style. I got so sick of his hucked stuff in Hit List and Push. I mean there are only so many front 10's that i can stand to watch. He is doing some sweet stuff in the backcountry though.
 
yo i dunno bout that, his 3 noses off the big drops are soo sick

and im real sure he does some sick sw 5s and zero spin cliff drops in push

 
ya you got a point. Don't get me wrong he is an incredible skier, but i think that MSP could bring in somebody better that Rory, or give more time to Mike Wilson
 
I absolutely loved his seg in 7 sunny days, even though it was tiny. He's getting more and more steezy, too bad he got hurt 2 years in a row... I don't think he filmed much with MSP, I talked to him at momentum and he seemed kinda bummed, he just had surgery in june.
 
yeah mike wilson should get wayyy more of a seg, but i think the combo would be unbeatable. they are both the craziest mo fuckas ever
 
remember when he almost landed the switch double back at the x games when everyone else was throwing 10's
 
thats the first hting that comes ot mind when i think of him. he also threw a sw dub back at that one whistler heli spring shoot for msp
 
look at the video posted right above your rediculous post. count the number of backflips, i could one switch back, and look at the backcountry shit in there, the switch stuff and smooth nose 3s off cliffs, and other sick shit, then rewatch push wiht your head out of your ass this time, and tell me that his switch back/double hucks are all he does, so what he does both cazy and stylie...
 
Bushy has to be one of my favourite skiers. His seggies in oushand the hit list were awesome and he adds personality to ski films. Him and Abma talking through the whistler jump session footageis hilarious! - "I don't know man..."

He is also not one dimensional as too many of teh newer skiers are.
 
i dunno man, although his style and tricks might not top them, hig big mountain is top notch and better than any of theirs. and if you took cliff jumping into account.....
 
I got a Rory Bushfield poster from Rossi and i love it, it hangs in my room right in front of my bed so im always looking at it. no homo tho, its a sick poster
