kind of a long shot, but I'm movin out to the bay area in mid-late January for a job.

I don't know anyone out there, so I'm just seein if there's anyone around my age (22) that rides that might be interested in gettin a place.

Also, people at the company tell me it's like around 3 hours to Tahoe, is that right? The job's in San Mateo, but I don't neccessarily need to live right there.

3 hours is about right.

i live in gilroy which is south of san mateo, and we can make it to northstar in like 4 hours on average.

boreal is closer, same with dodge ridge.

but unfortunately i am still living at home.

shit. did you mean the shitty central valley?

fuck that.

worst place to live in the world.

either live in the bay area or fucking in tahoe.

dont pick the mediocre middle ground.

the valley isn't all bad.  i'd live in the foothills like loomis/rocklin/roseville/auburn so you're still close to the big city (sacto) and the big mountains.

You live in Gilroy? And you're bagging on the valley? Well, when I'm still in bed you're driving to the lifts already. I grew up in the bay, it's played.

stockton. where the bullets fly. somebody got shot for an xbox yesterday like a block away and my house is in the nicest parts of town.

stockton is a pile of shit compared to my little town.

yes the drive isnt as chill as from stockton, but its not like you can fucking roll out of bed and into the lift line.

all i am saying is that if this kid has a job in san mateo he shouldnt fucking live in the valley.

san jose isn't bad at all man.

i dont know why you're baggin on it. they got a good night life in the city, and its right next to sjsu. college tail is all around!

plus i think its closer to tahoe than SF.

it might be about the same though.

It's not that bad, you obviously have never got off the freeway and been to Brookside or Black Oak or UOP area. Gilroy isn't much better and I've been there. Anyways, I'm 1 hr and 45 from my resort so I'm stoked.
