So ya, my roomie just went ape shit on me haha. It was so ridiculous. A little background, we knew each other before we roomed together, but not really all that great. Been going pretty well so far, sometimes we annoy each other but not that bad. Anyways, today I'm sitting on the couch reading and he is at his desk. He starts spitting on the floor like every minute or so, he had just had some wisdom teeth surgery.

Me: Dude, that's disgusting.

Him: So? *spits*

Me: Come on man, the bathroom is like 10 feet away.

Him: I don't care. *spits*

Me: Dude come on, seriously. That shit is gross.

Him: I don't care, you clean it up.

Me: Why the hell would I clean it up? Just stop spitting on the floor.

Him: (raised voice) What are you going to do about it? Starts spitting repeatedly. Fucking stop me.

Me: Dude, the bathroom is like 10 fucking feet away, just spit in there.

All of a sudden he just goes nuts. Grabs his chair and chucks it across the room and starts screaming at me. Swearing like mad, saying how his teeth fucking hurt, hes trying to study and hes having a bad week. I'm like "Dude, i'm sorry you're having a bad week, really, I am, but just go to the damn bathroom." He still continues to yell and go crazy like inches from me, fucking screaming. Finally he like yelled himself into silence and I was just staring at him, and he sat down and stopped spitting, haven't talked to him in a while. But WOW, I thought he was going to fucking deck me, and hes like twice as strong as I am, wouldn't have been fun.

Fucking ridiculous though, wtf? How the hell is that a reason to get pissed? I think I must have just set him off from something else.

well all you would of had to do is punch him in the mouth and he probably would of cried for an hour...

tell him to quit being a bitch, everyone has bad weeks or days he is a fucking adult and can't handle things like one? what is his fucking problem, especially to flip out on you for nothing. i would of been pissed.
 
theres probably a reason for it..not saying its you, but something to do with his personal life most likely..or maybe hes just really stressed and irritable?

just leave him alone until he chills out.
 
he'll apologize hes prob just pissed about his teeth and a bunch of work he has to do, i wouldnt hold it against him although it was out of line
 
word that's what I always do, I don't ever do anything intentional to piss him off, I'm a pretty good roomie (at least i think so). I don't want to bash him too much, cause maybe its just something really bad bothering him, but damn!
 
hes usually not like that though, most of the time hes pretty chill. Sometimes he just gets like moody as fuck and apparently I just pushed him over the edge today?

But I mean seriously, I asked him to stop spitting on our dorm room floor...wtf? He told me to clean it up or deal with it? He needs to get a grip or something.
 
that's happened to me 3 times this year.

his girlfriend is a fucking bitch, 2 years younger than him, and I really doubt she has the same feelings for him that he does for her. Whenever she ignores him the tiniest bit or gets mad at him or something he flips shit.

Kinda reminds me of when my roommate used to dump his contact solution out on our tv. Or when he would just shave anywhere and claim that his shaver caught all the hair and it wasn't a big deal. If I ever said anything about it he would get all defensive.
 
god I am happy to be out of the dorms. except my roommate wasn't bad, but still at my school the dining halls close at 8, and I always go to bed at 12 or 1, and even if I gorged at the all-you-can-eat place, I would still be starving.

I understand everyone has their bad days, but raging about it doesnt do anything. tell him to smoke some weed or go get some exercise.
 
ya he really can be..i didn't want to say it earlier cause i didn't want to bad mouth him too much. but ya, he wont even look at me haha he hasn't for the last like 24 hours, its a little awkward but i'm not complaining too much.
 
umm isnt this something we all get out of our systems when we are like 5?

not to bad mouth someone i dont know, but seriously what is this solving, tell him to grow a pair and stop acting like a BRAT!
 
ya, most of us did haha but he is super immature at times, and i've told it to his face before he just doesn't care. no biggie though, 5 weeks left of school or so and then i'm outta here
 
That is pretty gross. Id be pretty far beyond unhappy. One of my roommates is irresponsible as all hell, but hes still a good guy and wouldnt ever be a douchefuck like yours. Jesus spitting on the carpet... I think I might stab him for that.

anyway, he needs to learn how to deal with his problems without lashing out on others, especially someone he's rooming with. everyone has their bad days and what not, he isn't special ha
 
maybe its the pain meds? i found i got angry a lot easier when i was on vicodin. obviously no where near to that degree, but i did notice it.
 
yo i dont have tons of problems with my room mate, but sometime colege just puts me on edge and i really wanna snap when he says something annoying and stupid. Work is stressful as fuck and sometime you cant relax at all

i just got my wisdom teeth out a few days ago too...

spitting is on the list of things not to do, it hurts the sockets supposedly

and he shouldn't complain about pain as long as he ices and elevates his head, i never even had to take an ibuprofen let alone the vicodin that they gave me

tell the guy to quite being a pussy and do what the doctor/surgeon says
