This past summer I had to put my doggie down, one of the saddest things ever, the little guy looking back at me like he knew what was coming just made me tear up like a little bitch. RIP homie!

yeah, mine got put down today, but it was in rough shape. once i found out she was put down, i was a little shocked, then i saw her favorite toy lying on the carpet. lost it

Also, I will most definitely cry when my dog dies. She's getting old and I already get sad when I go to visit my parents and see her struggle to get up and come say hi even though she's so excited to see me. It sounds fucking terrible, but I'll probably be more sad when my dog dies than when my grandpa died when I was little.

I would probably cry if I had to put my dog down, but when my first dog died he was really sick for about two years (not in pain, just mild arthritis, trouble seeing, and he wheezed when he would breath) so I was pretty much prepared for him to die that whole time.

i understand where he is coming from. when i lost my grandpa i was only 6, i didnt really understand what was going on. today losing my grandpa would obviously be worse but comparing a current loss to a loss i barely comprehended, the current loss is worse.

When my dog died at 13 years (had him since a puppy, i was 18 when he died) i lost my shit for like a week. it fucking sucked.

When I was 14 I had to shoot my dog because she went crazy and attacked a bunch of people after she had puppies. My dad said I had to do it myself because it was my dog. No tears it was more shocking than sad... needless to say today I do not have any pets
