Room in tahoe

Hey,

Is anyone on here possibly looking for a roommate/housemate for the upcoming season? I plan on moving sometime after august, either right away or sometime in sept.

I'd much rather get a place with someone than have to pay for a single bedroom place.

Looking for one around the truckee area, the closer to northstar the better.

If you guys know of any places opening up around that time a pm would be appreciated.

Yes, definetly. I lived in tahoe city last season and am looking to live in the truckee area. My lease for my current place is up in august. so any time after that I need a place.

Houses are easy to find in september but get a lot harder after that. It would be best to get three people in a large 2 room or small 3. Thing is you need a lagre deposit and first/last usually. This is not problem for me, but most have trouble with this.
 
im lookin to move to tahoe city in the september or october; you think i should start lookin for places now? or how easy will it be to find a place when i get out there?
 
don't only ride northstar next year, that would be a sad mistake. try to live closer to a better mountain that doesn't have 3245897348573 people per lift line
 
yeah. and with the ritz carlton going up, its gonna be gape city. . N* has a good park but im not sure its worth it with the lines. Alpizzle is where its at!
 
yeah, alpine holds it down? I made a thread a while ago about where to live/which mountain to ride and thought i had settled on n*, isnt truckee really close to squaw?
 
truckee's pretty close to squaw and alpine. like, half an hour to alpine, 15-20 to squaw? haven't driven it in a while, so i don't quite remember.
 
from the corner of Donner Pass Road to the bottom of squaw road is 8.5 miles, to the bottom of alpine road is 9.5 miles...12-15 minutes... i drive this twice a day to and from work, and 4 times per day in winter... oh and the ritz carlton wont be open for two more years, construction city will continue to grow between now and then, they are building their own road to access the site off 267

me and my friends found a place in tahoma, what do you guys think of tahoma? Prob be working in tahoe city and skiing at alpine, is it a far drive?
