I know there are a lot of ns'ers who support this guy. I watched a video a few months ago of him and thought he had good ideas, ending the war on drugs and the war in Iraq and generally looking to lessen corruption and try to rebuild the reputation of the U.S. around the world. But I just now read a paper he wrote about why the United Nations should be abolished. It looks like it was written by a third grader and seems to express ideas which are opposite of what I thought he stood for, specifically he thinks that there is no reason for the U.S. to avoid unilateral military action, and indeed wants to withdraw from the UN just because he doesn't like how it effects the United States ability to engage in unilateral military action. What is this guys deal? Can somebody try to explain his platform to me in sensible terms? Or is he just insane?

the UN should be kicked out of NYC and the US should leave it. It compromises the sovereignty of the united states.

For example, the UN is proposing to tax the United States in order to fund the corrupt governments of developing countries.

The United States should belong to no Non Governmental Organizations.

In the words of Thomas Jefferson-

"Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations - entangling alliances with none"

Also the notion of Preemptive military action is the tool of Tyrants and dictators. Dwight D Eisenhower was against the preemptive strike too. Instead of staying in a quagmire in Iraq, RP believes the best way to protect our country against terrorism is to secure our borders, move all of our troops home( having bases all over the world is bankrupting us), and to only engage in warfare by issuing declarations of war.

Ron Paul is a gangster man. I go to school in bozeman and lots of kids are supporting him. IN fact this morning some one tagged RON PAUL in our staircase

my friend who goes to bama says that Ron Paul is being written all over school property there on a daily basis.

Im begining to think he's the most popular candidate, but just is layin low with a huge underground following.
