I know that...
Obama is well within the margin of error everywhere, on all polls, against Hillary.
What YOU need to realize is that Paul is not in line with the current GOP base. He may be the "true republican", but no one gives a shit about that except idealists. The actual republican base doesn't even know about Paul, let alone would they vote for him. He ran for the GOP nod because as a libertarian he could not have won. He is running against people like Huckabee and Romney who play directly into the base. I mean, really, the only thing that makes Paul plausible for much of the GOP base is that he's white and educated.
You, and I, are in the demographic that wants to dream, and dream big. You're doing that. Great. Much of the base, though, won't support Paul because he's radical, when most of these people want security, and routine. They won't vote for him even if he's the best choice because of it. Romney or Huckabee stand a better chance simply because they are "pure blood" republicans. Paul is radical. He does not have the support of the base.
I mean, come on man, it's gonna be either a black man or a woman against a white guy for president. You don't think I know the odds are against the dems in the end? However, Paul cannot win. Obama can beat Hillary, and if he does, he can beat the GOP.
He's an amazing speaker, which goes a long, long way in winning over the other side. Paul has had no large public impact, yet. Obama is a uniter. Paul a divider (for better or worse).
