Rollerblade Liners in Ski Boots: TheFuture?

After seeing the Atomic park specific boots with lace up liners, something struck me on how that is exactly how rollerblades and their liners work. Its the same concept almost. I don't know how it will affect a persons skiing, like it affects a bladers mobility in their ankles.

So I was wondering if anyone has switched out their liners with Jug or Sifika, or has any other points.

Not farmiliar with how rollerblade's work... care for some further insight? What does the lace up do other than stick to your calf better? (As I typed that I realized it probably helps boot bang... anyone confirm?)

not to be hatin but teleboots are way ahead of alpine boots in comfort

the new Black Diamond boot has a twist cable liner that tightens the whole liner

very similar to some Burton and DC boots

telebotts have had lece up liners since the 90s

hardcore race boots have had lace up liners for a while this is nothing new to skiing, although its pretty interesting to see how atomic has implemented them in a free ride boot

Not because of the liner, but becuase you would fall over before your shins even came into the equation.

With stagger stance landings you can still put a lot of force on your lagging shin, both on skis and probably on blades. Again, someone that does both, help!

Oh definitely with skis..i was referring to blades, i can't see how you could put massive pressure on your shins without the boots coming out from underneath you - so short!?

i tryed it with some old salomon blabe liners but they didn't come up high enough and the shell digged in to my leg so i never actually skied it.

i'm thinking about trying out blade shocks in my skiboots.

more ankle support. if you rollerblade your always twisting and turning your ankle for diffrent grinds. race boots are like this thou...
