Rogers IP blocking torrents?

If your having trouble with your internet and use Rogers in Canada read this:

About a month ago my bittorents basicaly just stopped working. They were reduced to very few seeds/peers and a rate of under 5kbs at the best. I obviously assumed that it was a router problem. Yesterday I tried to connect to the internet without a router, and it was still slow. Then I find out that rogers is blocking mostly anything with multiple sources. This apprantly includes iTunes, (but since I dont use iTunes I wouldnt know). Im gona call and complain when i get time, and try to take it as high up, mabey even threaten to sue. The thing thats realy rediculus is that they tell anyone about this and iv been essentialy wasting my money for the past month on a "5mbs" connection.

yeah shaw is going to do something similar and I am pissed. It is either shaw or telus for me. I'll try and find the article about what exactly shaw is going to do.

^^^^

There basicaly isnt. The only big company is DSL and that wasnt too fast a few years ago. Im gona look around for a smaller provider.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but each time I dl something my connection is not there anymore, so I have to start the dl again. It does this each 5 min when I dl. My transfer rate is still normal (20kb average). I have Videotron

yes they do. its their company they can make any changes they like, including ones that will stop wasting their connection. all providers tell you your not suposed to do per to per on their service, its just no one pays attention to that. so finaly someone is doing some thing about it.
