is insane, his backhand is so disgusting, i think his backhand is the sickest backhand of all time. Maybe hes better at backhand than forehand. but his forehand is nasty too. And he is alot faster than people think. And if he needed to he could rally a point for 10 minutes without making a mistake.

anyways I hope everybody watches his upcoming matches
 
^yeah he beat roddick. yeh federer is badass. and i cant belive nadal lost to ferrer. i heard he had some injuries though
 
Some of those backhand returns were incredible, Roddick was throwing everything at him, but the ball just kept coming back over the net.
 
I'd go as far as saying he is the most dominant athlete in any sport in the world right now. Only person that comes close is Tiger, but still no. He is a god amongst men.
 
Boring. Folks like Woods, Federer, Schumacher, etc. make the sport dull, since they're just way too dominant. I'd prefer a more level playing field, not someone who takes a title six times in a row.

 
but they are what makes everyone else want to play. they want to beat the best. nadal is coming along quite smoothly. roddick is getting there. ferrer is really good.

in the golf department. i dunno. it's a different playing field each week. haha.
 
Its just a matter of time before Nadal will be #1. Didnt do bad at wimbledon, did now though :/
 
I'm a Nadal fan, he's on the cusp of becoming #1, if he can only win the stuff on non-clay surfaces.

 
dont get me started with swiss policits..no i m not proud of these..but of the rest i m very proud.. and what about our very left winged ppl eh ??
 
Yeah, no offense intended, I enjoy Switzerland, it's just that more often than not in Europe xenophobia is very open, LePen, the SVP, Haider, the NPD . . .

 
i dont know how you can say nadal sucks, hes getting a lot better on hard court with tendinitus(sp?) in both knees and a messed up left hand. and did anyone watch djokovic's last match, pretty good impresions.

As for it being boring, well kind of; 2000-2003 made for more exciting majors, for sure. But getting to see someone who is truly a master play is watching an artwork in motion, and it's a rare opportunity. As a result Fed's matches are entertaining for me just to watch the shotmaking. I've gotten tears in my eyes watching some of those matches.

All of this said, remember, Djokovic CAN BEAT HIM on a hard court, and did at Montreal this year in the final. Sure it's unlikely, but it can happen. And I wouldn't be too choked if it did, because Djokovic is hilarious.

GOD DAMNIT. CBS is is fucking broadcasting the OT Dolphins game when the men's finals is on RIGHT NOW. I want to murder whoever is keeping god damn football on right now.
