obviously kidding rodney owns street skating. evry single trick he does amazes me. one time i saw him kickflip and st ill in the air kicked the board the other way into a heelflip
 
haha i love people who arent skaters talk about skateboardign and think they know what their talking about. have you guys seen what chris haslam is made of? that guy is a fuckin nut with tech. daewon is sick and so is derek fukuhara. and everyone who says rodney mullen is the best skater ever should be dropped into a pungee pit
 
yeah join the ns skateboarders and see how many other skaters rip it out on the streets...yes rodney did pretty much invent many tricks and is very technical, but u can compare tomany other skaters like almosts team...they shred...not to mention chris cole skates like no other and im to lazy to name every skateboarder that is better then rodney...hes oldschool
 
totally dude. he's a god. he throws the same shit i throw in the tony hawk video games. everyone else is like 'OOOHHHHHH MY GOD, KICKFLIP DOWN A STAIRSET!!' it's nuts how far ahead he is. he's so oldschool. the only guy i've seen even come remotely close to mullen is daewon song. that kid's got some sick tricks
 
To whoever said rodeny mullen owns street skating is a fucking idiot... well I mean I guess I understand where your coming from, but please make yourself a little more clear..

rodeny mullen is amazing at skating on FLATground..... dont get me wrong... but he's fucken terrible at true street obstacles which involve any matter of staircase, rail of any form like that. there are soooooo many more shredders out there that own him in the real street area.

skaters like Danny Scher, Brian Hanson, or Richie Belton destroy true terrain up.

although rodeny mullen is a legend and one of the greatest skaters in the history of skateboarding (mainly for inventing so many important tricks) and possibly the most known to skateboarders and people who have never touched a board.

It just annoys me to see such unaware people towards skateboarding only know of rodeny mullen or state that he is better than everyone in the skate industry.
 
i dont know about that, judging by his earlier comments in the thread it doesnt seem like it..
 
now thati think about it your right. hes owns flatground not street. there are a ton of talented street riders i dont know whose better than who. theres hsu, p rod, song, mullen, the little nyjah (sp) huston kidand many more

rodney mullen is crative, unique, and has more talent than any other skater ive seen. daewon's good, so is chris cole, but rodney is on a different level.
 
Hes done some things i thought were only possible in tony hawk pro skater. Everyone should watch Almost Round 3, so fucking good and i dont even skate.
 
Terrible at rails?

Dude, he is 10x better than you will ever be on rails. I don't know a ton about skateboarding, but darkslides, 5-0 360 flip 50-50 is pretty much the opposite of terrible.
