Rodeo or Cork

They both look very aesthetically appealing if done in a smooth/clean manner, but when thrown sloppy they both look equally disgusting.
 
if you land both the same way (sloppy or clean), then it really comes down to the grab you do with it. So like a rodeo 5 with a japan grab compared to a cork 7 with a tail grab, and if the judges know their stuff, then they would know that they are still pretty equal tricks, but change that cork 7 tail to a cork 7 stalefish and the cork 7 should beat the rodeo 5 japan no matter how they land.
 
From my experience its all about how well you can make it look, and how well you can do the trick.

Rodeo with screamin seamen score really high if you can do it cleanly
 
If it's a small local comp it's whatever floats your boat, but judges are going to see a million boring cork 7s throughout the day so unless you got some dope grabs or next level stomp take it to 9 bust out a dope rodeo. Comp skiing is about doing it well the first time and giving the judges something they haven't already been bored to tears by.
 
learn cork 7 first. it is easier to build on. Learning rodeo first makes it harder to learn corks. rodeo may be easier to learn but it'll really mess you up by the time that you want to learn cork. it's may seem a little odd considering rodeos can be way easier but that's just how it works out.
