I'm not sure what i should do, i can land rodeo 540's easily on my trampoline but there are no water ramps or air mats or anything like that anywhere near me. Should i just try it into powder or off a kicker or something? need some help

For me I just throw my hand down to safety and look over my opposite shoulder. It comes around alot easier than you think and its real easy to spot the landing. Sometimes you just need to sack up and just go for it. Good Luck!

okay thanks i think i could land one but i'm thinking i should try it into powder first.

I tried my first one off a little wind lip into some soft snow and landed first try. You could just go for it off a jump since the snow is getting slushy and soft everywhere now. The worst that could happen is you might land on your side

I think you definately can do it directly on a kicker. The main thing you have to focus on is on the take off and to look at the landing before you land. I had the same question and I tried on a snowpark kicker for the first time and all went well!

good luck!

Yeah, on a slushy day you won't get too messed up. However, a lot of people rodeo on skis differently than they do on a tramp.

Right i know and that's why i want to be confident on a trampoline first because it wil be harder and the rotation will be altered. Second question what is the difference between a rodeo 360 and a lincoln loop? is it just that you throw the rodeo back a little.

Rodeo/Flat 3 is an off axis backflip in which you should never go fully inverted, while a Lincoln loop is straight side flip. And I actually find rodeo 5s easier on skis than on a tramp.

If im throwing it off a kicker do you think a 12-17 foot jump is big enough?

If it's a super lippy jump then you could probably pull it off. A guy at my home mountain grew up skiing a hill with only a 15 foot jump, so he can rodeo off of anything.

well it shoots you really high into the air which makes it really easy for corks and flips. I've seen one person do it off the jump.
