hi guys, this weekend i'm thinking about trying my first rode 5, and i was just wondering if you guys had any tips to give me. i can backflip well and i've done flat 3's before, and i've watched some videos and a lot of rodeos. i've heard its helpful to think of yourself springing forward and then turning your shoulder and kind of rolling over like you are going to tackle someone. i'm really stoked to try and anything to help me would be much appreciated. i.e. jumps, jump size, technique etc. ill get a video of my attempt and post it up here! thanks!

if your "flat 3" or more probably your wackflip japan is good, you won't have much problem doing an extra 180 for a rodeo 5.

Take your flat 3 and throw it a little more to the side and less back. Should come right around.

Vice versa. Throw it more like a backflip and less like a lincoln loop, compared to a flat.
