Rode videomic Windmuff Advice

So I recently purchased a rode videomic, and it doesn't have a Windmuff of anysort. I figured this would be almost required for skiing, correct? So I've seen the Deadcat is pretty popular for it. Any feedback on this? Is there a better alternative to this one? What's your guys input?

I bought a Micover windscreen for my Videomic Pro. I havent actually tested it skiing yet, but watch this video, it has better results then the official Rode windscreen. For half the price and better results, its a good purchase.

Hahaha agreed. I have a Deadcat tho and it works fine for me.

deadcats are great. I have one but it came with it so I'm not 100% sure on the brand (I think its rode), but it still works great. Makes a huge difference even with only a little wind

Just search deadcat on b&h and find one that fits your mic, that's what i did

Microcover is the way to go, mine works great and is about half the price of the rhode

I use the Micover Windscreen for the Rode Video Mic and it is cheaper and works great.
