almost...but not quite. I just want to talk shit to some sox fans. but its cool though. I was a rockies fan their inaugural season. Bichett, Galaraga, and Walker. Haven't gave 2 shits about them since though.

Oh please, don't even talk about hitting. Colorado has a much better offense than Boston. And you guys wouldn't even be able to use "Big Papi" at Coors Field anyway because the NL doesn't have that chicken shit designated hitter rule, not to mention even if you did play Ortiz on defense his fat ass couldn't field to save his life.

Colorado has a better batting average. We are better than the Sox in almost every category. We also have more hits, triples, and HRs, so I guess we're actually a better "long ball" team. Remember that tie breaker game? The one where the Padres started Peavy? You know, the guy who leads the MLB in strikeouts and has the best ERA? We also faced Hoffman, statistically the best closer in the game's history. We beat them. Point being, no pitching rotation is invincible compared to Colorado's offence. Don't get cocky.

In all seriousness though, I think the Diamondbacks will beat Colorado. Even without hudson, that team destroys man. They have guys come out this season and just rip.. and they all came OUT OF NOWHERE. Eric Byrnes? that guy hopped around for what seemed to be 2 years before he ended up at Arizona.. where he SHOULD have been an All star. That guy was consistant all season long...

Colorado? not so much. They actually RELY on their offense to win games. Their starting pitching is.. well.. its got much to be desired in my opinion. The bullpen is alright.. it gets the job done, thats alright... but the starting pitching is nothing unless its red hot..
Arizona doesnt even really have great pitching besides Webb... but they do have awesome defense and a bullpen that is easily tops in the NL, if not the league.
Boston though.. they definitely have the best pitching staff out of anyone left remaining alive in the playoffs. Hands down, that team has what it takes man...

oh and that stat page you sent me also states boston has more runs scored, a better on base percentage, a better slugging percentage and the sox had 100 less at bats than colorado did in the regular season, which means they make it count, seriously just wait, colorado is just riding a wave, the sox arguably have the best bullpen in the game, have been shutting down other teams key tactics in games (the angel's running game...shot)

^seriously. and Quinny, Peavy could have had a less than average game. Pitchers have those every so often u no. like Glavin when the mets needed a win to get into the playoffs he let up 7 runs in a third of an inning. Glavin is one of the most winningest pitchers in all of baseball. PITCHERS CAN HAVE BAD GAMES. now i really wanna see the sox and rockies in the world series cause the sox would dominate. THE AL IS BETTER THAN THE NL. the NL sucks dick.

Arizona will probably give the Rockies more trouble than Philadelphia did. In the series prior to the playoffs the Rockies took it 2-1 in Phoenix, but it will be a tougher series than before. I predict a six or seven game series.
As for the great gay Boston circle jerk above me, you guys can feel free to spot off as much self serving crap as you like. I honestly don’t give a shit about your team. Just remember what happened last year. This is the playoffs, not the regular season. The game isn't played on paper. I have not once claimed the Rockies will even get to the World Series. However, I have no problem in belittling your team because they're not nearly as "hot shit" as you think they are. I might add that this thread was originally about the Rockies until you decided to threadjack.
