Yeah i know this isnt skiing related, but its fucking awesome! over 10 years or something, summer goes on just a bit longer here in denver!

couldnt agree more.

that was a wild game. i was hopin the rockies would win, but damn i was not expecting a 13 inning thriller. that must have been something to be at that game.
 
why, its a miracle, 15 years from now your going to see a dramatic sports movie about this. i'm claiming it!
 
i'd usually agree, but this game was intense, i've never watched a baseball game and felt like it was that intense. its crazy seeing the rockies do so well knowing they usually only sell like 10,000 or less tickets a game to selling like 45,000 the last month and a half of a season is so inspiring and awesome to see.

I used to go to rockies games as a kid back when helton was starting out here and was so good. Its just good to see this happen to a good franchise and a team that has never left a city after some 12 years of failure. You cant deny how awesome this is if you've been in Colorado for some 10 plus years.

Hockey/Football/Basketball are always pretty decent here its awesome to see another team be successfull finally. They deserve it, even if they get swept in the first round they are world champs in my book.
 
oh i totaly agree this was the first game i have ever watched in my entire life and i like it but from the 6th inning until the 12th were like come on already.....you knwo what i mean.....but then again it kept me watchin.
 
i heard it ended on a bad call by the ump who just wanted to go home.

oh and GO SOX! fucking taking it all the way baby!
 
yah that game was actually really cool. i rarely give a shit about baseball because it's the most monotonous, repetetive sport on the face of the earth, besides maybe cricket or bowling. i fucking HATE the mid-season stretch when all the other sports are on hiatus. it just means that EVERY top play on sports center is going to be a home run or a double play...great, ive seen it 100 million times.

THAT SAID, the rockies last night reminded me why it's worth it to watch baseball every now and then. it was fucking incredible. thank you rockies for temporarily reviving my waning interest in baseball. i hope you make it all the way to the world series and fuck some unbearable team like the red sox or the yankees along the way.
 
you couldnt tell from either re-play, but the rockies would've won in 9 if the right call had been made on the homer atkins hit that bounced back in.
 
i would be rooting for them as an NL team but my loser friends who know nothing about baseball are rooting for them so i cant so......GO D-BACKS!!!!!!!!
 
WOW, what a great story. 14 out of 15 games, and they beat the pads in extra frames with a walk off sac fly
