Rockered symmetrical park ski

I am currently sitting in digi comm (/claim) and was pondering the thought of symmetrical skis. I then thought, "what if you added rocker to the mix?!" I searched and searched, and only found these park skis to be rockered: Moment vices, Salomon twenty twelves, Armada halos, and the K2 revivals. All these skis are rockered (K2's are flat with early rise but it counts) but none are symmetrical. Is this a good idea NS?

K2 domain is rockered and symmetrical and I like the ski, so do most people whom have them are members of newschoolers.

this, best option on the market, anyone that says otherwise needs to shut up and get off the pieces of shit they are riding

100% bamboo core, 1.8x2.5 edges, rase base, full length carbon, hand made in the USA by NS'ers for NS'ers, seriously they are the best park ski on the market

no longer working for amplid.....hence my old name is back! But i was riding on there new provoke symetrical rockered park ski last season and have nothing but good things to say. Its unfortunate the longest length is a 175 but what a dope a jib ski! Great price point on top of it. I would highly recomend them for the skier who jibs abit more then jumps.

as much as you can like ON3P, reading in every thread that their skis are the best of the best and that all the other ones suck makes them lose credibily IMO. I dunno I've never tried any pair and they might just be the best skis available, but I feel like everytime a what-ski-thread pops up I see you post ON3P ON3P ON3P. I have no problem with reading that they are a very good option, maybe even the best, but please stop saying all other skis are garbage.

unless my meter is broken?

Hop off of ON3P's dick dude. They are sick but you need to stop recommending them in place of every other ski. "anyone that says otherwise needs to shut up and get off the pieces of shit they are riding" Shut up, the K2's are good skis too. Nobody listens to you you arrogant asshole.

theres nothing wrong with people supporting a certain company really passionately. kangbang always supports moment and people give him shit for it. i dont know why, its just a recommendation.

There is some truth to that, i had a couple pairs of blue steeles last season, and the were in fact the best park skis i have ridden. BUT they had huge durability issues, I was 5'11" 175 last season and i broke one pair second day on then and another pair third day on them. I since got a pair of k2 revivals which were garbage, and they lasted me three months til they ripped out and i no longer wanted to ski them. The on3ps ski like a dream, i just dont wanna chance it with iffy durability again. Customer service at on3p is super on point, they're really good dudes. Im on s4's now and they should be rad, havnt ridden em yet.

Sounds like you have your bases covered for this year, but if you want to give us another shot in the future, send me an email, got some ideas about a semi-custom for you.

First, I'd like to point out that (unless I'm mistaken) Thomas (Balto) was/is an intern at ON3P...having that kind of relationship gives you a bit of bias.

Secondly, Balto never said all other skis are garbage...he simply stated that the Filthy Rich is the best option for a symmetrical rockered ski...which, honestly, I agree with. And, on another note, he does recommend skis other than ON3P all the time...when they're the right ski for what someone is looking for.

Finally, EVERYONE on this site has some bias or heavy opinion on a certain company...how many times do you see someone answer "Line skis" for ANY question about skis...at least Balto gives rationalization for his response and is willing to back up his response...although he does have a bit of a high horse and douchy attitude about it...but that's just him.

Balto's actually quite knowledgable about gear and maintenance...hell I've even learned some stuff from him.

Bring the hate...I could care less.

Now, back on topic, I'll also say the ON3P Filthy Rich is the best choice. If you want a softer ski, go with the Domain (although you will lose some groomer/carving performance) if you want a stiffer ski Moment Rocker. I personally put the FR as the top of the line because of it's mid-stiffness and carvability while still maintaining a light, poppy ski that kills the park, but that's my personal opinion.

After re-reading this thread, I realized that he did in fact say that...but I think my point is still valid.

Sorry dude, I just get frustrated seeing similar posts from him all the time. I do spend a lot of time researching gear, and view myself as fairly knowledgeable, and I wouldn't mind if he only recommended ON3Ps, it's just that he trashes other skis and seems very stubborn about his opinion, and his method about delivering advice makes him come off as an asshole.
