Rockered skis have to be the FUTURE!!

Suddenly, all the ski companies are gonna be making rockered skis. Agh. What's next? Sideways bindings?
 
What can they really innovate and change about the rockered skis? I'm pretty sure the EP pro and Hellbent bent are PERFECT. I guess they could make a stiffer one, made more for charging deep lines, but other than that I don't know what will actually change.
 
please tell me your kidding. with you logic, shape skis would still be the same as they were when elan came out with it SCX or whatever that thing was called. This is only the beginning of rockered skis, I do not know that they will take over, but they sure will grow and evolve like any other ski.
 
I dunno. I bet people thought the same about camber.

There are some really whack people out there who come up with some funky shit. But it works.

The problem with rockering/reverse camber is your loss of control on hardpack. And don't even get me started on moguls.
 
Rockered with magne traction ala libtech?

Left and right specific skis (ie skis arent both the exact same)

Like mentioned above me, ARG style skis, especially for park

Bigger "early rising", to where the ski as rockered as a normal ski, yet has normal camber underneath the bindings

And I'm sure the Idea crew will come up with many more

What about race skis & cruisers. Remember that only a very small minority of skiers are "newschoolers"... Rockered skis are sweet, but NOT the future. It's not commercially viable. Rockered skis will continue to be developed and hopefully you'll see more of them in the near future, however they will exist as a sub-set within the "twin tip" segment of the market
 
K2 Hellbents, Line ep pros, Armada ARG, Salomon Rocker, K2 Pontoon, K2 Seth (mini rocker), is it the Moment Komikazi?, anyway a couple of moments, Line Prophet 130 (tips early rise), 4frnt EHP in the 193 cm.

praxis, dps lotus and the surface live life is flat i think

and from moment the rockered skis are the reno rocker,melee,cami-kazi and you can get the M1 with rocker too
