Rockered park ski question

I'm looking to get a park ski this season and am nearly positive I want a rockered ski. I have a pair of EP pros that I basically use as my daily drivers (including for park) after my Scratches got a core shot and I am trying to find a ski that would be more fun/easier in the park. I am 6'2 165 and have been skiing park for a few years. I love my EPs but just want something narrower as I do most of my skiing in Maine. I am pretty sure I want a rockered ski as I love how the EPs ski and want a similar pivoty and buttery feeling in a park ski. I have been looking at the Alpha 1s and Halos, the Moment Vices and PB&Js and possibly the 2012s. I am trying to decide if I want to get a pure park ski, like the Halos or Vices, or get a wider, do it all ski like the PB&J. I definitely don't want to go any wider than about 105 as I already have EPs for pow and to mess around on if I want to. Also, I am still figuring out if I want a softer ski or a stiffer one. My EPs are noodles and I love them, and I definitely want a fun ski to mess around on in the park, but also a stiff enough ski to rally groomers and all that jazz. Any thoughts on these skis or suggestions for others?

I have never actually skied a rockered park ski but a few of my friends have had them and made the same general consensus that they just dont handle or carve nearly as well as a standard cambered ski, just because they have less effective edge.

But I would say to go with the PB&Js over the Halo's or Alpha 1's, because obviously you dont only ski park. I think its probably a better idea to get a more versatile ski for your purposes, something that can handle deeper snow and offpiste shit too.

And since your EP Pros are so soft, i would get a stiffer ski. But it totally depends on your own style. If you are more into rails and jibs and that sort of shit, go soft by all means but for jumps you will want something stiffer. My old invaders would bend ~90 degrees and shoot me onto my face when landing switch if i was leaning too far uphill. But its totally your own preference. Sounds like you love the flex and playfulness of the EP Pros.

Domains mabeye? I distinctely remember reading in a thread about how someone who rode EP's really liked them.

Depending on how much rocker you want, Surface No Times have some early rise so you don't catch your edges.

i have been riding a pair of Salomon 2012's for my park ski. i was skeptical about the rocker at first. but after riding them that changed. they are great!

yeah i thought about the no time too but I know they had some durability issues in the past that I don't really wanna deal with. Have they fixed it up since then? also, how are they all mountain-wise?

i think that domains are good for your plan,rockered,buttery,etc...but i dont know if are a "park rat",guy or all terrain ,also the recoil but you decide

i mean i ski at sugarloaf so i ski lots of park but also rip around all mtn a good bit. probably like 50-50 but i def want a good ski for the park. I thought about the domains and recoils but I think they are kinda heavy and I know the domain is flat under foot. I think i want some camber for pop and such with rockered tips and tails

i have a no time 2011 and were perfect at park but... the 72 waist sucks for rails cause durability,,,and for all mauntain sucks too

I'm 6'1 155 and I ski 176 halos, love them, paired with marker squires they are the lightest set up i have ever had, it sounds like you want to butter everything and with the rocker and taper these are hands down awesome. Hope I helped

Check out the scimitars, they sound perfect for you. 50/50 ski, rocker, good swing weight, 95 underfoot.
