if you really want rocker theres only one board to buy,

1985 ARTIFACT its a rome board

my homie rides for them and its the only rockered board i would touch. it actually has pop, while being rediculously soft. and dont be intimidated by how jibby it is, he rode it in our big air comp and threw the best back seven japans i have ever seen.

I have a K2 parkstar and I really love it, Ive also rode the artifact rocker and its a little soft for me. The parkstar is decently stiff, it was big enough for the 60ft booters at mt snow, but at the same time is really buttery on rails. The artifact was sick for park, but when i tried to take it anywhere else on the mountain it was waaaay to soft. But it was super fun in the park

I may catch some flack for this, but i dont really give a shit. I ride a skate banana and i love it to death. Its a really fun jib stick, and it kills it in pow too. It may be played out, but there is a reason behind its popularity. just throw some stickers on it and make it your own. and also be prepared to have lots of people ask you about it.

yes, yes you can. Personally I hate lib boards, primarily the skate banana. They all feel "Dead", as if all the pop and life was sucked out of them. And the rocker inbetween the feet wasn't my cup of tea

I definitely stand behind this statement, in that no board works for everybody. I should have said this in my original post, but if possible you should definitely see if you can ride some of the boards your considering before buying. As i said, i love the skate banana, but clearly it isnt for everyone.

Rome has an array of rockered boards for you to choose from. I rode the Artifact rocker last year. Its amazing, super playful without lack of control. Its a flat camber between the feet then flares out at the tip and tail. Also my buddy rides for sentury snowboards and he lives by their rocker. I have yet to ride it but the he says the lack of pop you get from a rocker doesnt exist with a sentury. Heres the website http://www.senturysnowboards.com/

I demo'd a bunch of the 2012 boards a few weeks ago and have to say I was very impressed with the Rome Agent Rocker, the thing grips like a mofo, has a ton of pop and still floats. I currently ride a DH2.4 which has prorize (camber and slight early rise)and I love the blend of stability, pop and float while still being playful when you want.

Some of the Bataleon boards where insane, normal camber but flat rectangles in the tip and tail that creat on of the most unique riding boards I have ever been on. You can flat base on these things like crazy cause the edges are turned up at the nose and tail. Plus the board had a sick graphic that included a boob.

Wasn't too impressed with the skate banana, felt a little to loose and unstable for my preference, but tons of fun for jibing.

The Capita NAS was great for just maching on the groomers. Full circle technology. NAS is an acronym for Normal Ass Snowboard but I had to keep remiding myself I wasnt on a LIB cause the narrow ass snowboards. Only regular camber board I rode and I rode it after trying probably 7-8 rockered/flat/bataleon wierd shit/hybrid boards and I gotta say I really liked it. The stability is amazing and it gave me a reminder that even though all this new tech is coming out, traditional camber still has a lot to offer.

The K2 happy hour was a pretty good ride, seemed to hold a little better than the banana and had a lot more pop, just though I was going to stab somebody with those old school sharp tip and tail.

I rode quite a few others so if you are still lookin for a board or waiting on 11/12 stuff just ask.

That is if anybody will ever find this post.
