I went up to jay today and yesterday, and i saw so many rocker skis which took me by surpise that so many people on the east. which got me to think are people just buying them becuase they look cool, and all the best pros are using them, or are they really the new way to ski?

i think they are the way of the park future. and freestly backcounrtry too. skateboards got reverse camber as time went on. haha, soon they'll be making it so it is a boat like shape horizontaly so you can butter better and not catch endges as much. haha. fuck contactpoints.

jay was so sick today.

Possibly the most epic pow day ever.

And to answer your question i think that it is a new way of skiing. Saw a kid on Hellbents and they looked sick.

yeah its gonna get popular in park and powder for sure, it only makes sense.  for park i bet we are gonna see dual camber skis, like what prajeket, was doing.  ive seen some people going through the park with them and you can do so much more on them, there is no way its just a fad, it may not be for everyone, but its here to stay, you can just do so much more!

i think it could be really usefull for a ski that has to hit the park, pow and stuff. but i think it will die in some new england resorts where its just park and icy groomers.

i saw one guy do like a 450 butter onto a box, wayyy bigger presses, the same  guy did a 180 on and switch nose pressed the length of it pretty damn big.   and on groomers ive seen people doing nose butters while totally hauling ass, you can just keep going from like nose butter tail butter and spinning with them. i saw a pair of hellbents and arg's in a shop for demoing, so im gonna try them out for sure.

i just rockered some of the old line twelve sixty's like an hour ago, and i cant wait to ride them tommorow. there sooo soft and fun. Hey, its my 1000 post, yay!

if rockered skis are gonna stay in the park then they are goiing to have be be alot more narrow then hellbents and EP's

I don't think spatulas were rockered. I've seen a bunch of dbags skiing super hardpack ice runs this year on rockered skis. Shit, your parents have to spend money on something right?

guess i'm a dbag! i like em

don't be jeoulous cuz you don't have some

buttering on groomers is super fun right? so get rockered skis

I'd say snowboards have more of a chance of keeping it because you still have a full length edge you can just butter easier

what was your method???

I have dont it where you clamp donw the middle, wedge the tips and tails up with wood bocks, then just fry 'em with a heat gun for a bit.

is that what you did?

there is no proper way other than making them reversed camber straight out of the mold. heat gun works best
