Rocker+New Graphic Arv VOTE

Hey guys so you may have seen the thread by Panojibber about me rockering my arvs in a crash, well it turns out that after a few more days of skiing on of my skis lost some rocker. so i decided to rocker my skis at home by useing clamps weight and i heater.

the rocker worked well, except that the tips fall off a littl to the middle because of the slight table angle

I was also fooling arround with the idea of custom graphics and just made this one up pretty fast,

now its your job to vote if i keep this graphic or get my art student buddie to make a new one ,

and if you want a step by step and the materials needed to make a graphic im glad to help

Also, by painting them, do you think Armada will still warranty them?
 
i dig them. but you've fucked with your skis sooo much now and it's not even december.

I'm on one hand proud, but on the other hand, dude those skis aren't going to last the whole season.
 
whats that on the left ski? sperm swimming towards the tip? jk its a sick graffic, colors go good together. the blue and yellow looks real good together. and it does look like something that pollard would come up with. good job man
 
its not actully paint, its a pice of colourd sticker paper with these really thick markers that i sprayed with a latex based high gloss transparent paint lol :)
 
lol thanks man, im not really sure if i like them but we will see how the vote goes, more leaning towards the art student at this point lol
 
hahahaha okay.. so i'm so about to try this on my boones... knowing that bamboo keeps its shape really well though.. i might have to leave a pair hanging up there for about a month haha.
 
yea use a heater under em for like an hour an just leave em for about a day or so with no heat, then they should be good :)
 
do you have a picture of your end result with rocker? aka - put the skis together and lets see how much rocker you got outta that method.
 
no offense, but i think that ski had a really really dope graphic to begin with...also i dunno about the rockering...things are so soft they'll rocker themselves anyways
 
Word, and double word...

I still have a pair of old ARV's from years ago that are so ridiculously soft, its insane.
 
yea lol , i honestly did not think i would work ,

but the vote ends up to be the art student,

i will post pics when thats done and fornow we will see how these hold up
