Rocker+magne traction= win?

I was thinking about lib tech's bannana board with rocker and magne traction so it holds a crazy edge but still has the benefits of a rocker board.

Why can't a ski have crazy rocker to rip pow and a little magne traction so it could still rip the groomers?

i wanna ride the banana board very badly.

i don't think a rockered ski would be too great for carving though anyway, even with magne-traction. i could be totally wrong though. if you read their whole description, they made the board "because a snowboard is not a ski." of course we'll never know unless someone tries it out

gahhh soooooo illl. i might have to start working at a shop that carries lib tech just so i can get myself a pair next year

People fail the realize that rossi invented magnetraction and is merely licensing it out to libtech.

The Jdubb is a magnetraction board and its made by rossi.

Rossignol, Lange, Look, Ride and lib-tech + more are all owned by the same parent co.

Rossignol also came up with the two edge thing with the harder ptex under foot years before its time and Dynastar borowed the patent to use that in their skis, im sure lib did the same.

I'm pretty sure that the parent company is Quicksilver. Huge company with cross brand borrowing...god damm monopolies...

new lib skis are gonna be dual cambered for next year, rockered tip and tail, cambered under foot. makes buttering easy and still rips on ice with magnetraction

Even the old lib techs are sick. If you ever get a chance to ride them do it. They have the best ratio of weight to stability I've ridden in a long time.

i saw a guy at moonlight basin this weekend with rockered magne traction lib tech skis. they have been next years, or maybe he rockered them himself, but they do exist.

i failed to ask what model they were, if i see him again i will ask, and maybe get a picture.

they must have been 130 under foot, they looked awesome.

Does the mounting point ever clash with where the magnetraction is placed?

The ones I was looking at at Evo earlier in the year had it pretty far back on the ski, meaning that if I tried to mount it around center, it would grip more towards the back and thus I would have to sit back to control it on ice.

Is this the case?

The Rossi S7 is rockered and sorta has a magnetraction thing going... Sage is going to SLAY this year on that mofucker..
