I don't think a rail jam should be turned into a political tool.

200% agreed...if theres something I dont want mixed is my enjoyment in life (skiing) and one of the most talked about and overdone topics (politics)...good luck with it, but I dont think its really a good idea to combine the two

^ but still. i for one wouldn't consier voting just because i entered a rail jam. i think the people that plan on voting, are gonna vote. i also agree. Skiing and politics should be kept totally seperate.

I don’t think it's political, it says support troops, maybe someone that made it has family overseas, there are many reason that they chose that design, you don't know its intention. You guys are the ones that made a cognitive leap to political association between troops and politics. You are assuming support troops = support war = support bush therefore you say its political, but its not. You are transposing your political view on it, not vise versa, so you in fact made it political. Personally I think its a good paint job, the cursive is sweet I’m sick of stensil/spraypaint.

but the title clearly states 'ROCK THE VOTE RAIL JAM'...if it was a 'support my brother/friend/dad/uncle in Iraq rail jam, id support him all the way

Raoul makes a very good point, because yes, it's true that I support every American troop anywhere. That's non-political, or at least I consider it to be so. But I make an immediate association to 'support the war' when I see public 'support our troops' signage.

One of my bestfriends is fighting for our born right to jib such rails. It is the least i could do for one of my homeys that is caught up in shit that some elected twit did or didint choose to support..... Fuck them all this one is for my boy with no snow!

 
You could say it is political because it is telling people to vote but it isnt telling them who to vote for so I think it is a good idea. People should vote and most young people dont.

I took the liberty of posting it on newschoolers forum Ski Graber…. Thinking it would likely be passed over to the next page….. Well I guessed wrong…. It wowed me in the fact of how true the life of a skibum really is….. it got deep instantly…my love…. my passion…. my chosen lifestyle was connected to the corrupted and truly (united we stand) spoof boner our supposedly elected government provides. I may vote…. And if I do it’s not going to be either of the twits on TV debating on what ever the issue. To me each party paid off FOX or ABC or NBC to plug in favor of the highest bidder and provide propaganda to the US the We….. Reality hit 9/11 when I saw many lives disappear LIVE on TV…. Fuck man…What the fuck…..Instantly I wondered in disbelief, was that a replay?.... or…. shit man I couldn’t even keep up with what my eyes were seeing It was the second of two planes. Utter madness total disbelief! I should hope my eyes never see such a travesty to me and to the we. If I had ever seen into a soul of a leader I would think that unfortunate soul would be the leader of the immediate NYC area... I don’t even need to mention names….. If I were to vote it would be for that person.
