Rock Music and Skiing?

it all depends on the skier. like, in war, sammy c had rap and it fit his smooth style, seth had punk cuz thats how he skis, in your face crazy shit, and pep had the mars volta, which i guess fit his segement in the sense that hes kinda like do what i want when i want and not say anything about it kinda thing.
 
theres just something about a bunch of wannabe thugs "talking" about cars, bitches and money that doesnt get me pumped. now some sick ass heavy guitar riffs blended in with some ear pounding drums and woofer rattling bass makes it much more appealing
 
i hate rap music with a passion. Not only because it just doesnt sound as good but because its designed to sell to a bunch of white boys with money. The poor kids from the ghetto can't afford to go to the concets about their own lifestyle. Rock music is where its at "rock and roll will never die""rock and roll is here to stay"

and i think skiing to rock is so much better, you get a good song on and the run can go from being a fast paced angry run to a slow relaxing run just from the music.

hahaha some frenchy i rode in the gondola with at vail let me listen to her music, it was fucking whale music, like something you'd hear on the discovery channel when two deer are humping. she was all like, "free your mind." and i let her listen to my staticx and she looked like she was about to vomit the rest of the way up.

rock, ska, metal, regaee, rap, < all of those work beautifly, depending on mood and style of terrain... just not g unit or fat joe... because they suck big hairy smelly dripping moose cock

Honestly I can't see rap as music. I mean, its cool to listen to n shit, but it doesnt have any real instrumental stuff n shit, and if it does its not really good. I gotta go with Aerosmith, Led Zep, the Who, GnR, Velvet Revolver, Nirvana, Rush, allman brothers, blue oyster cult, cheap trick, foo fighters, wheezer, velvet revolver.
 
I wouldn't go as far as saying fuck rap, because my friends might shoot me, but rock is definetely the best out there. It gets me so fucking pumped on skis!! And on snow days where I head out of the park I listen to prog rock, fucking awesome.
