Rock Band the game

has anyone played this game yet? (if its even out) is it good? i havent herd anything from it yet..
 
it is tooooons of fun. Friend got it the day it came out and about 10 of us played about 2 days straight. I dont even play video games but this one is a good time for sure. Guitar hero plus bass, drums, and singing essentially. Drums are the most fun i think and the most challenging
 
there was a demo in the best buy in the pallisades but it wasnt working so there were like 8 kids just banging on the drums
 
hit up best buy if there is one around you. they should have a demo set up. the guitar/bass is really similar to guitar hero with some kinda cool features, but the drums are a lot of fun.
 
is it like guitar hero, like how you have to get the colors and stuff or do you make your own songs?? cuz druming would be difficult (say if you do a roll on the snare i dont think it would be possible to match up a hundred colors hahah)
 
bad thing is the guitars that come with the game right now suck ass durability wise. After a day the strum up didint work, then it started to work and strum down didnt, then it stopped alltogether a day later. Apparently tons of people are having this problem so theyre mailing people who broke theirs a new one. Orrr just use the guitar hero guitars which are the same except the rockband ones have another set of buttons to use during solos where u dont have to strum.
 
u do match up colors just like guitar hero. theres 4 pads, red, yellow, blue, green, then a bass drum pedal. The bass drum is an orange line that u have to match. You do have to almost roll sometimes which is why drumming is the most difficult. But i said before its also the most fun to try to get good at.
 
i might as well keep going. Guitar is just like guitar hero, and bass just like guitar hero too. Singing is like karaoke almost, u have to match the pitch and stuff and u really dont even need to sing the lyrics, u could hum as long as ur in tune and matching. Pretty much u just create a band, play famous rock songs in shows and stuff and try to gain money, fans and unlock new cities. If u suck u lose fans and money.
 
i just played it at my friend's room and i didn't think it would be that much fun but IT IS. i can't explain how much fun it is to play the drums, it RULES.
 
haha yeah the guitar at my local best buy doesnt strum down.

its supposed to be released in canada but they pushed it back, i dunno when the official release will be. retail in the states is 170 for the game, guitar, mic, and drum kit
 
i think its retarded that anyone would spend the 200$ + dollars to buy that whole set up

buy a real fucking instrument
