Today is Bob Marleys birthday. If cancer wouldnt have got him he would have been 68 years old. Just thought id share this fact with you all. Post your favorite Marley song. Oh and remember emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, non but ourselves can free our minds.
 
i always liked "coming in from the cold." how sweet would it be if bob were still alive today- just being an old ass rocker like bob dylan. ill take a toke for marley today.
 
thanks for the idea. I have to do a pencil sketch for drawing class and didn't know what to do. I'm gonna draw Bob. I'll post a pic when I finish it

I went to Bob Marley's house in Kingston a few years back, took the tour... The room he was shot in is still the same.

(No I'm not wrong, he didn't die, just was injured)

There are bullet holes in the walls still.

They still have a ganja patch outside the house too.

Just wanted to share.....
 
trenchtown rock is probably my favorite and time will tell is pretty chill too. thanks for the reminder -- think i'll have a couple puffs to celebrate the life that was.

if anyone here is interested in some rare as fuck bob track go to the itunes store and check out Bob Marley: Grooving Kingston 12. and look up the acoustic melody tracks. so chill, you can just picture him on the porch at island house just smoken cheeb and jamming away.
