Robert E Lee group

Are you celebrating him because on his numerous war completions/intelligent decisions or because you think he's cool because he was a Confederate.
 
Well than you're just an insult to him. He was a brilliant man and you're using him for your redneck tastes. Robert E. Lee is turning in his grave.
 
i have always wondered, why is robert E Lee and not just Robert Lee? I mean, im not called Sam J Mocarski, yet my middle name starts with a J, why is he so godamn special?
 
Sorry, I thought you were for real. I just hate it when rednecks use Robert E. Lee as their leader just because he was a confederate general.
 
im more of a fan of stonewall jackson, thats a good man right there. afetr battles that he always won he would sit on his horse staring at the carnage while sucking on a lemon
 
yea stonewall was pretty crazy

but robert e lee really was brilliant...and just because he "lost," doesn't mean it was his fault. granted he is in charge, it takes more than one person to fight a battle.
 
stonewall and lee were great, stonewall often won battles when he was outnumbered 2 to 1. but he was shot by accident by one of his own men and he died.lee was a genious as well, lincoln actually wanted him to fight for the north but he was too attached to the south so he stayed with the south. we might have won the war if gettysburg had not been so costly for us.
