Rob likes marker bindings

The new Jester binding looks pretty cool. I have yet to see it in person, but I might try a pair out this season.

i have to get new bindings this season. wat would u suggest? ive got 181 dumonts, and i want someing that isnt to expensing but pretty durable.

ive got pivots right now but there a few years old and staring to fall apart. but by far the most durable ive ever had

get some sth12's austin cuz you're a lightweight. those bindings weigh like 2 ounces and on dumonts your skis will weigh less than feathers. ask cullen and shane. but those jester bindings do look sick. that's what any pep and pollard were rockin i'm pretty sure.

if your just talking about rossignol i cant really say anything because ive only had looks...but there basically the same so i will say the brakes do break. i crashed landing switch once and the brake completly ripped out. I tried to warranty it but they said they dont warranty if your "skiing switch"......im not trying to be a dick or anything im just telling my story.

word, i always deal with joe's with my bindings and they just give you a new break, everyone in welch crew used to always use salomon, but we always broke them, and now we all use rossignol or look (same thing now) and have never had a problem and thats saying alot with using them for urban

Line bindings... sucked and will continue to suck. Great concept but shitty construction.

Marker bindings... sucked in the past but may prove to be decent this season.

Salomon bindings... ultra light weight, break too frequently but there are ways around that by replacing the titanium tracks with steel ones. Brakes will break but I haven't come up with a way around that... find a ski shop that understands the dilemma and will try to help you out (Pinewski's.) Their new binding, the sth16, should be an ultra improvement!

Look bindings... heavy but withstand abuse really well, but I do know that A-Ron and Drew broke theirs.

4FRNT bindings... heavy again, but they also withstand abuse really well. I have broke the steel plate inside the heel but Drew has had two pair and hasn't broken them yet. It has a self adjusting toe piece that will continue to fit as your boot wears out from urbans.

Just so everyone is aware, most companies are cracking down and becoming more stingy with warranty situations. Starting with the smaller companies and then becoming more prevalent in the corporates. You need to find a good shop that will work for the warranty on your behalf (Pinewski's.)
