Road to shredows... GONE

that sucks so much, glad i dint get a pass there this year though. hood river is gonna be so crowded unless they get that shit opened back up.

did the road slide out or was it buried by a slide?
 
yeah i heard about it and one of the bridges got taken out by a mudslide so thats gone, i guess they are trying to fix all this pretty soon though which is good
 
wow its like year 04/05 except that there is snow, we just cant ski meadows until like december
 
Until DECEMBER??? I figured they'd get that shit cleared up ASAP. i didnt realize that the slide was so big... FUCK.
 
I was reading Dave's Blog and I think he said that the Hood River side will open somewhere around the time meadows should open.
 
It's over an hour to Hood River from Portland, and over an hour from Hood River to the mountain. I don't know if there's a shorter way to get onto that side of 35.
 
yeah uhh i dont know if you heard dude but uhhh both ways are closed... it sucks.. im poissed i was gonna come back and ski meadows but it looks like ill have to stay and ski park city.. shit.
 
both are closed right now but they are expecting to open up the hood river route before the other side because there is less debris
 
im glad ive got my fusion pass for timberline and skibowl. t-line is dumping right now by the way. i cant imagine how i would be feeling if i bought a meadows pass this year.
 
dont worry... hood river sides gonna open on like the 18th or somthin hopfully, thats just around opening time for meadows. Maybe have to wait till thanksgivin... kinda weak, but good to start the season on a 4day weekend. thad be siiickkkk.

damn your right... totally forgot about you peeps who live in govy... all i could say is get your sleds out! Take it up to meadows that way.

if its dumping in govy, we should just kill all the people that own snow summit and take it from them to set up a huge rail garden. anyone have a welding gun and some scrap metal??? haha, arg i was so excited for a while, but my dreams were crushed, fucking rain/el nino/god. hah
 
dude i know all the peeps that run summit ski area .... dont fuck with them.,.. yeah.. that ninja cattrack is also washed out. but you might as well hike up palmer and hike over white river... youd get hella good axces to upper heathers
