Road sign prank i pulled today!

So i live on an island, and the closest thing we have that resembles a mountain is this little foot hill that is about 300 ft above sea level. So as a joke I made a sign that said "South pass ELEV 6538ft" And nailed it into a speed sign at the top of this foot hill.

Its not the funniest prank ever pulled but it will get acouple of good laughs from the locals, as well as some confusion from the tourists.

acouple of ideas im going to do for tomaro.

-So about 100 yards down the road im going to put another sign up that says "Winter Chain up Area" funny part about this is, no one ever needs to chain up where i live.

-And im going to nail another sign into the south pass one that says "next rest stop 98 miles." the funny part to that is the next stop is like less than 5 miles away.

Somebody put a sticker on a stop sign near me that said hammertime. it was sick. I was pissed when the georgia tech police or dot took it down.

About the elevation thing. One time, me and two friends(atlantaski and someone else) were driving at night high in the mountains in NC(about 4,000 feet), and atlantaski and I convinced our other friend that we were 28,000 feet above sea level and about to go above everest. It was awesome.

The best road sign prank I pulled was I stole a "speed humps ahead" sign and put it up on my friends bedroom wall just above his headboard.

Then I have a "no dumping" sign on my bathroom door.

There is a sign where i live that says watch out for black ice so we spray painted out ice and changed it to men it was pretty funny
