why wouldn't they make that road on top of the huge plataeu/ cliff instead of on the side of a vertical wall...
 
bolivia, and to the person above who asked why its not on the top of the cliff. its coming out of the lowlands up to the mountains, basically it comes out of the jungle. its their main road to transport crops and such from the jungle, to somewhere for them to be exported. my latin american prof. was talkin about it today haha
 
in hawaii there is this raod called "the road to hana". it's quite treacherous, and sickness inducing. full of 1 lane bridges, hairpins, hils and corners... basically all on the edge of a cliff
 
that road looks awesome. here in AK we have the most dangerous/deadly highway in america and its nothing compared to that.
 
Too bad its now modeled for tourists and is not the original road like this one is, Bolivia can keep it real, America always fucks it up
