Road Biking/Crit Racing

Anybody into road racing or crit racing? Just bought a new bike and looking to train for crit races happening at the end of the summer.
 
I'm slow on my road-bike unfortunately. But still faster than john1806 or skierman
 
I’m more of a CX racer than anything, but I’ve spent enough time racing road bikes to be a Cat 2. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of crits, but that’s because I’m a relatively wispy climber. They’re tough to beat in terms of accessibility, though, and it’s always fun to race a downtown crit where the locals come out. If you find yourself enjoying crits, try to set aside some time for stage races next year. There’s nothing quite like them. Are there any specific crits you’re scouting out? Also, feel free to PM me if you’ve got any questions about gear, training, etc.
