Ripping edges off of skis?

The egdes on my concepts last year fell off from rails. Im going to completly tear them out of the ski, at least the parts that are falling out. Im going to put my old bindings on them and use them for rails and urban jibbing. They should slide nicely without egdes, what do you guys think.

 
that is the damn stupidest, i mean why would you, how is the ski gonna stay together, but if you, and what about the overall, who the fuck thought of this, why.... ahh screw it, have fun, it should slide really well....

i dont imagine that your ski will be able to hold itself together for to long..but hey some people have dumb ideas...go for it!

i had about a 7 inch gash in my edge, and each time i ground, a little more would come out, so i just took my whole edge out. cant turn to well, but slides like a dream

man my concepts did that too and they were like 'well nobody told you that skis where made for rails' even tho thats what they advertise them to do... so i made them feel bad and they gave me candides

jus put glue or ducktape aorund the sides, but not ont the bottom......and then nomore catching edges.....they need skis with grind plates like those old line skiboards had.....i duno if that wud wrk though/...

the edge below my boot on my Candide dynastars broke off so now they are my urban skis and they work fine. Leave the rest of your edge on, it will keep the ski together.
