there used to be info available on the net about ripping DVD's and hacking the country codes (copyright), but I think it might have been removed because of legal issues (however I think the case recently wrapped up in the hacker's favor). Check on google and where ever else for DeCSS.

#1 DVD ripper is a one stop shop for this. it simplifies everything.

pop in the DVD select a couple options a click rip and bam your done

I remember a couple of years ago you needed at least 3-4 programs to rip it. now its all in one

try Clone DVD ( http://www.clonedvd.net/clonedvd-download.html )

You can either copy a dvd so you can watch it on your computer, or you can make an exact replica that keeps menu structure etc intact to burn onto another dvd.

Try DVD Shrink, i've used for about a year and have never had a problem. Super easy to use too.

i rip pretty much every movie that i rent and like and burn it to cd, i use ImToo DVD Ripper and its pretty sick. You have to set the output settits yourself because the default settings make the video file bad quality, but if u set it urself its just like watching the DVD.
