Ripped out edges

i have a pair of tms missing a good four inches of edge on one ski and three on the other. i was considering mounting them up for a rail jam next weekend. im just concerned that they might catch on the edge thats left. will this be a problem?

It shouldnt be a problem. The only thing I can see it catching on would the a rail/box, but seeing they are level with your base, it would be a slim chance it would catch. You should be fine.

i would just file down where the edge starts and stops so that its really rounded and the rail wont stick in there too much. i have a pair with a good section missing that i use for urban and have used on the mtn plenty of times and they work fine... a lot of times on a flat bar with a sharp square/rectangle shape (like not so rounded corners) you can feel it kinda lock in there but it really doesnt do all that much

dude i rode this whole season on skis missing edge, if anything they slide smoother. just file em like SP said

yeah i figured. its just one of the skis is only missing like two or so inches so i didnt know it it would catch, because its not completely sliding on the base. if that makes sense i cant seem to explain it
