Sad day for sure. Underoath is no more. I know the band doesnt have any original members left, but this band will forever be the band of post hardcore and has paved the way for many with its unique style. I just hope future generations will listen to them to receive the same message about god, love, and peace that I received which made me a morally and ethically better person.

What are your favorite songs by them?

I saw the original line-up when I was younger, and it was fantastic. Then saw them last year, and I literally was dumbfounded but how much of a shitfest it was. The vocalist was horrible, and the dude who does keyboard was nothing but a obese child trying to headbang. Fuck em.
 
I was disappointed when they broke up. I always had some hope that Aaron would come back and fix everything haha. I will still play their old jams though
 
yeah i picked up ø(disambiguation). It was pretty good. personally i didn't really like aaron and I liked the vocalist on ø.
 
Haven't listened to anything after they're only chasing safety. Sounds like it was a safe play. Not my style anymore but every once in a while I'll throw them on. Can't say I'll miss them I have the music by them I'm interested in hearing
 
They died a few years ago IMO, but sad to see end of their time... maybe the old line up will get back together in a few years :P
