RIP STEVE JOBS

you realize the whole base of that company is to make products that brake easily that then they wont fix it for you, so you have to buy the newer model. it's happened to me before with apple products i feel like all he cared about was money and not a lot about helping costumers, but then again i didn't actually know him and i dough you did either.

PLEASE TAKE A STEP BACK FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND REMOVE YOUR HEAD FROM YOUR ASS.

I HOPE YOU ARE STILL 12 AND YOUR MIND STILL IS NOT FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS. IF NOT, LUCKILY THERE IS NATURAL SELECTION

You are so off base its sad. Sure the dude liked his paycheck, but if you think he was in it just for the money, you are fucking high. He brought us the PC, Pixar & iPods, three of the most insane innovations in personal entertainment ever.

That sucks you had bad experiences with their products, but I can guarantee you are one of the few. My G4 Powerbook still runs better than most up-to-date non Macs, I have a blue screen (2g?) iPod that works same as the day I got it.

i think he died because of the dissapointment of the new iphone...

but really RIP Steve you will truly be missed by every apple user around the world

yes very true i would buy also long term apple will live.

however i have decided to sell because i bought stock when it was around 150 a share now its at 378, i am really happy with that gain and going to put it into a bond to keep it more stable so i have some money when i turn 18

Mr. jobs really innovated what we take for granted today and the most important i feel is itunes, he made music listening and sharing so much easier for all of us.

if you saw any of my other posts in threads discussing apple you would know i am a huge apple fanboy and really saddened by their loss today.

cancer is truly a devil, no matter how much money you can posses life is nothing without your health and that is something that steve jobs hasnt had, I used to think how awesome it would be to be him for a day and live in his amazing technological house, and work at apple and be the BOSS, but then when you see him on stage (wwdc 2011) and how he looked you can see he is struggling and all of the hardships he has gone threw while running one of the most successful businesses in the country. I really hope our government realizes how important finding a cure to cancer is so we can preserve the great minds we have and save the thousands of lives taken by this horrible disease each year.

Same here, I always watch a ton of TED talks and I watched the commencement speech the other day.

"...for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?""

You guys know Tim Cook has been running day to day operations as CEO since almost 2008.. I don't think anything is going to happen to apple in the long run. RIP Steve

“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

- Steve Jobs at the Stanford University commencement address in 2005

This.

No disrespect at ALL. He was a definite genius and a visionary, but its annoying as fuck how every 13 year old on facebook thinks he single-handedly designed, produced, and built every apple product ever.. but still, RIP for sure.

Sucks for his kids and family...would suck to lose your pops at their age.

On the brightside, no more thugs in blacked out durangos posted around the neighborhood night and day.

that in no way proves he wasn't in it for the money but again i never new him and i know you didn't either so im leaving it at that.

this

I'm really saddened by the news, steve was a great guy, and way more successful/smart than people think. Everyone is all about Bill Gates (or was in the early 2000's) but Steve was just as big of an innovator if not bigger than him. RIP

you are so fucking retarded.. a great innovator passed today and all you can bitch about is how your 10 yr old ipod broke from being up your ass so much and they won't fix it for you, and now you're blaming that one store won't replace it for you on steve jobs? seriously, get the fuck out or show some respect for this guy

it's ok guys.. zzzskizzz is operating on the mental level of a piece of festering shit. we cannot expect anything more comprehensive out of underdeveloped mouth-breathers such as him.

(by the way..."knew", not "new").

RIP to one of the greatest creators of our time.

Rip an amazing scam artist/marketeer/innovator. I can't believe how many people you convinced that they had to have the iphone! Props! You are truly a great man!

Westboro baptist you never cease to amaze me

i dont like that sentences when someone passed.

like where i live, when a baby or very young kid dies, you dont get much condolences as a mother (maybe not now anymore, but definitely some 40 yrs ago, a sister of my mother died after 3 days) because the people would just say "god needed an angel, be happy, he/she is now an angel".

or a good friend died some years ago and he was a drummer. not long, and someone says that god needed a drummer for his heaven-band.

i am not religious, but NOONE should like the fact that there is a god sitting and pulling someone out of their life just because HE HAS SOME NEED or WANTS TO.

i downright hate the metaphor.

RIP steve jobs, i dont own an apple or an iphone, just one shuffle from back then. so were even i guess.

RIP Steve one of the most brilliant minds of the 21st century. I literally spend hours everyday on one of your amazing creations.

what? I always read that he was absolutely ruthless in running Apple. He micromanaged and was involved in almost every aspect of the company and constantly threw out anything that didnt meet his very high expectations

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying thats a bad thing especially from a business standing, im sure his attitude towards apple is the reason why it is such a successful brand...I just haven't heard a lot of people characterize him as a 'very kind man'

We can only hope he wanted to be remembered with humor. =) I'm not gonna try to act like I knew him or anything, but he sure left a mark. And that, and his life, should be respected.

just every once in a while, refrain from typing the stupid thoughts you constantly have onto NS. the dude pretty much invented the PC you moron

i shouldnt have used the word invented but the apple 2 was the first complete computer many people saw and it plus visicalc spurred shit like IBM making a PC, which all transformed everything
