Right on man, well said. Your completely right, its amazing that it went this far, just the thread itself. There si a tonne of liability running a site, and that thread could have brought NS down. I would rather loose the thread, than all of Newschoolers.!

Glad you stepped in Lemon and taught everyone a lesson. Sure it was a loss of a legend, but as someone else stated, I'd rather lose the hot girl thread than lose NS over lawsuits for pornography posted on the site.
 
i think the situation couldve been handled better than just deleting the thread again.

it had a lot if history, shame its gone.

im gonna agree with the mods on this one.

i don't mind having it but like cmon...its just as easy to go on Google and find all the porn you want or the fetish you want. if i lost ns because some parents bitched abou having there 13 year old son looking at porn id be pissed and im sure there are some people that rely on ns to get them through the day. just forget about it and soon enough this will just all go away

fuck america if a website can be taken down due to overprotective PMSing mothers who can't be bothered to supervise their kids internet activity. thats a sorta weak reason. couldn't people complain that there is no warning about language, or vulgar material? there are multiple cults devoted to weed for gods sakes, complete with hi res pictures and instructions. i guess the only viable solution is to delete the entire site, just in case there is something that might offend someone somewhere at some point in time.
 
Well, your about half right in my opinion. I mean yeah NS is bad in that respect too, but there dont have to be warnings for that stuff. NS would have to post a warning for adult material, but I know of no such regulation for drug references, among other things. Thats where the kid gets grounded and thats about it, I dont believe NS can be held liable for that sort of thing, seeing as the word "dank" isnt regulated...

people are pretty anal these days about that kinda shit too.

you guys were given several warnings not to post porn in that thread, and noone listened. you all lost your little crappy collection of soft core porn. it's a shame that some never listen and have to go and ruin it for everyone.. even those who play by the rules. plus anyone who really cares is probably like 15 and under.
