Brightons notorious urban rail "Green Monster" has been torn down for undisclosed reasons. I know most of you are upset by this but you have to remember she is in a better place.
 
haha that rail is sick. berman was all about filmin on it last week, he wanted to drive up for it.... THAT SUCKS!! FUN RAIL!
 
i have heard many things about this rail...what are the details i.e: how big, what kind of rail, even better does anyone have a pic

I have heard so many things but have had the chance to see what looks like, Plz help

thats the best picture i know of it, it really doesnt show much of its features, but as you can see it is in the middle of nowhere and served no purpose but for kids like us to hit it
 
It doesn't look very large. Must just be the angle. But yeah, sick that its sorta useless to everyone but park rats.
 
if i lived there i would have grabbed matt and went. if i died, it would still have been fun. i probably would get like 8 feet and slide off the side and be like "fuck".
 
Its not so much the length or challenge of the rail that makes it cool as much as the setup. Its on a little hill on a sidestreet(no cops) and the hill goes down like 10-15 feet for an inrun and then all of the sudden theres the rail and stairs and it ends with like 5 feet or so for an outrun. Its like it was made for jibbing. Im just so mad i never got around to hitting it. My friend drove up there the other day to check it out and i told him that if there was enough snow we're doing it that night, but thats when he called and told me it wasnt there anymore.
 
I just found a really cool rail up at msu. Ill try to get a picture of it next weekend or whenever i go back up there.
 
I have no idea. Its a great looking rail, but the in-run has to go across the street and the end of the rail is a little sketchy.
