Anyone who aren´t from california or born in that time will problably find it difficult to understand this, Eazy along with NWA changed rap forever there is no doubt about that: With out them rap would still be that disco/party music (sure other rappers rapped about there issues and what block they belonged to, but far from what E did, just listen to boyz n tha hood), they really brought gangsta/gang culture into hip hop. They were so critisized for theyre way to expresse themselves, for instance slangin´drugs and gang violence and such. But E was a good person if you have in mind where his from (eastside compton), for instance every saturday or sunday he picked up boys from the hood (children) and drove them out for a trip outside of la.

Eazy E is truly the gotdfather of gansgat rap, no doubt.
