for anyone who knows cooper campbell.

He died in a car accident after going home from logan air port. a drunk woman was driving the opposite direction on the maine turnpike in ongunquit. a trooper was trying to get the womans attention by flashing his lights at her but it didn't work..

just wanted to say rest in peace cooper.

anyone know more on this or heard about this?
 
this is why drunk driving is absolutely retarded, i have no respect for anyone who decides to drive drunk. rip.

this is really eye opening, reminds you it can happen to anyone. I sold some hats to cooper like 2 or 3 weeks ago and he was super pumped to get them, and today someone pmed me seeing i was listed as a friend and asked if he was legit becuase they were in the middle of a transaction that hadnt finished, i said he was hella legit, then we found this news article and thread. its just a suprise. RIP kid, +karma to you forever

Cooper was one of those kids that is always smiling and cracking jokes.

He definitely did not deserve this.

Coop, i will miss your smiling face at sunday river.

Never got a chance to meet him, but I definitely heard great things about him, plus he was a Sunday River shredder.

Rest in peace, and prayers out to his family for sure.
 
yeah its fucking sad. weird thing is right before vacation..probably on monday night or tuesday morning i talked to him. and i come back a week later finding out he's gone. funny how life goes. ill miss shredding with you coop. i remember the first time we met and you lost your pass haha. and then a few weeks later you broke your leg off the cliff at north peak. weird how people can be with you one second and their gone the next
 
yeah agreed. they werent positive if driving was involved with the accident, but its pretty evident when this person was going south in a north bound lane.
 
omg a fellow newschoolers, that's so sad ....this is why i fucking hate people who think they're alright to drink and drive....RIP dood and i hope your shredding endless bluebird powder days and a park that no park down here can ever compare to.....so sad, it's def. a reality check and an eye opener
 
fuck man that's so fucking sad.. i never got to meet him but he seems like a really legit kid. i'm guessing he was coming back from a vacation to logan? so sad.. RIP man.
 
yeah. he was in a limo coming back from the aiport. he was in naples FLA during break. the womans SUV hit the limo dead on and the limo driver died too
 
some guy in am mustang was going the wroong way on the northway(upstate NY) to comitt suicide and hit a delivery truck. it was fucking crazy, the guy died instantly but teh truck driver was fine.
 
+++to coop's family and his fellow riders. i really hate hearing about the loss or pain of follow nsers. it sucks knowing people in the your community who are suffering, but it still is hard to hear about someone in the nsfam.

 
Seriously, stuff like this should really make everyone realize how quickly things can happen. We're not invincible! Don't drink and drive!!

sorry coop, didnt know you but rip...you will obviously be missed to many people, and this goes out to ns to show that you should never drive drunk you could end someones life
 
He lived in my town but went to a private school. I dont know him myself, but i have a bunch of friends that do.

It's weird how life throws shit like this at you... I talked to the kid only a few days before..

I wasn't that close to him, but its still weird to think hes not around...

ive known him since he was 2years old he was a great kid always smilling his mom passed away 4 years ago. everyone pray for his dad whos left with no one.

i agree that its eye opening, but i hate it when NSers die, i mean come on we aren't supposed to die at such a young age, i mean no one is.
 
Cooper came up to my friend and me a few months ago while skiing the park at Sunday River. He wanted some pointers on sliding rails. He was such a great kid to work with. His attitude was great, he was such a positive kid always looking for input. This kind of shit makes you realize how quick something can go wrong and hurt so many people.

RIP Coop, you'll be missed greatly. Hope your having fun where ever you may be.†
