I've been listening to Biggie tough for the past 2 days...didn't even know it was his bday.

Oh shit arent you cool, yeah he made great music, but hes not an idol. He's an inspiration from leaving the hood and giving up a steady pay in hustlin to chase the dream. However he cheated a lot, fucked around with his life, and was pretty selfish to say the least. I enjoy his music, but I'm not the sweet kid on the block cause I listen to him.
 
you're right, he isn't an idol. but all of the bad things he did inspirted him to make great music, and thats what he will be remembered for.

listening to biggie all day is simply a way of paying respect to a rap legend that went to soon.
 
i dont think i called him an idol. and honestly, who are you to say he was selfish and cheated alot and fucked around with his life. hey im sure he did, but not to the extent that 'Notorious' made it out to be. and i never said im the sweet kid on the block cause i listen to him. i listen to him because he has sick flow, amazing lyrics, and its cool to hear about stuff that im not used to. obviously my dream isnt to become a hoodlem and sell crack on the streets but its cool to hear their stories and what its like for them to live in brooklyn and do all that stuff. so honestly i dont know what your point was on that
