RIP Alex Cohn

Why does that have to happen, especially to the kids who are so nice and loving. Crazy world that we live in, shred some knar in heaven.

Sudden death blows cause you never get to say goodbye. In my experience with these situations I just try to tell myself that its not a life cut too short, just one that stops right at the end of youth which some may say is the most fun in life, so at least they never had to deal with troubles of later life. That's an opinion of course, but it helps me get through the day. Another thing i've learned is the parents take it the hardest, I'm sure it would go a mile for support if you can contact his fam. to e mail or even print this thread to show his parents the scope of effect he had on the NS community.

On a lighter note it's pretty funny to read some of these heartfelt comments immediately followed by goofy signatures.
 
Alex cohn you are a fuckin champion. I will never forget all of the sick days we had skiing, chillin, nd gettin fucked up. It was an honor to be able to know you nd be on the same crew as you, $ki BLoCk for life. even tho the koota nd muffin wear had there differences, we were a family. I know you will like the movie this yr, pushin for The Koota Brown Experience just for you kid. you are the champ of champ town, nd made skiing what is should be, FUN. you always looked at things positively nd lived life to the fullest. I will never forget you, you are my brother for life. I kno that you will always be lookin down on us. will carry on your tradition with the banana madness, nd rippin on cosco..."Such a Rush" haha. make sure you got a nice fatty rolled nd a 12 pack for me when we shall meet again. By the way fool ur ugly haha.

this is so sad, he sounded like a really neat kid. my condolences go out to all his friends and family. makes you think about how random life can be, so go into every day positively and and enjoy it as much as possible.

i just heard about this i dont know what to say

me and alex went to school together in 6th grade and he was one of my best friends there. I just started snowboarding cause it was cool and didnt know about park skiing so when i saw lil grom Cohn throwing little 5s and sliding boxes I thought he wa pro. I;ll never forget all the days at BCDS fucking with the older kids, flipping the lights out in the lockeroom, trip to sr, skating decodiva. I thought we were gona get to ski this winter but i hope your using that talent up in some pow

aha nothing was like cohn on a ski day man... going out stoked to ride. learn new stuff.. just shred around. kid made you in the best mood cause he was just out there enjoying it bustin jokes making people laugh. always kept a smile on peoples faces (as cliche as this whole thing sounds..) but the kid truly brought good vibes to the scene, and that's what skiing is all about.. bringing people together to enjoy the snowy land we get to take advantage of. RIP Alex. you'll be missed man.
 
Dude, what the fuck! This is messed up! Alex was so sic- dude, this is so weird- I cant believe he died. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cohns especially Zac. Hang in there guys... RIP

Alex, champ of champtown. I am gunna miss skiing with more than anything. we had so many amazing times learning new tricks nd just having fun. it was was an honor to know you and spend time with you. i no you will always be looking down on us watching over $ki block making sure we aint monkey around, but keeping up our made bananza shit.

yea man, i can't even comprehend that man, losing one of your friends without warning. RIP to alex and best wishes to the friends and family.
 
It's so sad to hear abtou things like this. Alex sounded like the shit, and it really makes you think, that stuff liek this, unfortunately happens to all sorts of people, even the most positive of people.
