So i put the order in on my VW Rabbit 2 door 2007 today.

I want to get some rims for it.

I want to keep it as cheap as possible so if any of you know any good websites or places in toronto or that ship to toronto for a fairly good price id love to hear it.

Or if someone who knows their shit goes on ebay and finds some rims theyd be my hero...

the cars black too.

If you send me the link to the rim i decide on... ill mail you a fuckload of stickers!

thanks guys!

either buy Aluminum racing/sport wheels to actually get some additional performance (check out H&R)

OR

DONT BUY FUCKING WHEELS YOU OVER CONSUMING TOOL.

whoops my bad man my bad.

i dont want hubcaps lol ive had a long day.

CORRECTION

i mean entire wheels.

my "over consuming"? im purchasing somethign that i want to purchase.... by that same logic... you owning a computer makes you an "over consumer"

not the point of the thread. answer the question asked dont give me your societal view please

no i think its for the set...no tires tho... if u decide to buy make sure u read it carefully...just to make sure its a set but it hink it is

make sure you check to see if they are available for VWs. Different maunfacturers and cars have different backspacing and bolt patterns. also remeber that your gonna pay some big $$ to get rubber ontop of these once you get them.

what do you reccomend i get? im thinking 17's it comes stock with 15s...

what size do y'all think i shuld get?

oz 35 th annvery wheels 250 a pop at tirerack.com go to local dealers and find a wholesaler

sign up on vwvortex.com and theres tons of classifieds for whatever kind of rim you want. But you should screw rims and throw a nice big turbo on that thing, it would FLY!!

Can I put this shit to bed.

Get Borbet, I have a 18in racing on my VWpassat for the summer, and then the stock tire on a winter tire. I can't find you any pictures, since it's a discontinues model now.

For the rabbit, you could go 17 no problem.

If you're into the multiple spoke look, the Borbet Tyle LS Bright Silver Paint come in multiple sizes.

or, for something similar to what I have, the Borbet Type FS Bright Silver is pretty rad too, and comes in a 17 and 18inch model.

Tire rack sells a decent selection of them, but you can go to local places too, which is a better idea.

And whoever said www.vwvortex.com was a good add too.

k, the biggest your going to want to go is a 17, any bigger and you are going to have fitment issues, plus the ride will be harsh, rubber super expensive because your going to need a 40 or less, plus you will have to roll fenders etc. VW have a decent selection of factory choices so look at those to decide on a style you like then follow that, wires etc would look super gay on a dub, in my opinion anyway, i personally like clean 5 spokes etc but that may not suit your car, there are websites like tirerack that allow you to digitally put rims on your car you so can see what they look like to.
