no way! i got a 07 a3. black with black interior with 25% tint. sexy looking car for sure.

but about the rims, i have heard good things about tirerack.com

Once I read the title I thought this thread would be either yours, nicos or leapers.
Btw don't get rims unless you have money to burn, when you go to re sell your car, you won't get that value back. And I personally think most aftermarket rims look ugly unless you get really lucky with a set.

Get some subs instead

i has money to burn :) hahaha

and I'm looking at some BBS ones now or some OEM rims from audi, keeping it classy.

And of-course you lowered your car.

But something like this? Embed attempt from iNS mobile...

Wait, you're joking, right? You think new wheels are a waste of money and then suggest subs? Aftermarket car audio systems are the biggest fucking waste of money ever. Who needs to listen to music so loud it shakes the car, and the car behind them?

Ahha, sarcasm.

I'm just low on cash, so anything to do with extra money on my car is pretty much burning it. (2002 BMW 325xi) unless you're a DJ or have money to blow then don't get subs.

i was looking at the rs3 rims... and thats what I'm heading towards (or the rs4 ones) as for black rims I'm still iffy if it will look good on a silver car

Prima Donna Look Alikes*

but seriously what type are you into- full faced wheel, mutli spoke, 5 spoke, concave,

and the final determining factor is cost
whats your budget

not trying to put a damper on anyones day here but these are going to cost 1500 a piece- 6k for wheels isnt exactly cheap.

Here is a basic overview. When looking at wheels you need to look at cost, size, intended use, as well as styling.
Forged wheels regardless of 3 piece or not are usually going to go for over $800 a piece brand new. Forged wheels are much stronger, usually lighter, and in most cases are a finer product since they take more time to make, whereas a cast wheel is a much cheaper option with wheels ranging from 250-500 a wheel.
Rotiform Cast BLQ- $300 a piece

Rotiform Forged BLQ- $1250 a piece
forged_monoblock_blq_02b.jpg

the reason is the fact that Rotiform gets all of their cast wheels manufactured in China and then shipped over at an extremely cheap rate. Whereas each forged or 3 piece wheel is hand built using a much more expensive process. However these wheels are much stronger, lighter, and have a higher quality of finish to them.

Determine what style of wheel you like, and what cost you can cope with.
Personally I love HRE Wheels- but cant shell out $6k for wheels when I would rather begin the process of single turbo'ing my car.

just go to tirerack.com and pick out what you like.

no real point in shelling out a lot of $$ for "good" wheels for an a3 really.

right here.

or rotis if you want to go cheap but still look good. RS's are like a hot blonde chick, played but always stunning
