Riksgransen, SVERIGE

anybody ever skied here, or anywhere else in northern sweden?

it seems that 3 toppslyfter (three pickups) which would pretty much be a whole day is about 1,300 kronor. (thats loosely like $400 USD) and the terrain looks pretty sick

downsides; incredibly inaccessable, very short days.

anyone give me any info if you've gone heli in sweden? PM or reply or skype; Christian_Sander

riksgrensen er ganske bra da.. sett bilder og film ; ) men, vet du hvor tärnaby hemavan er ? der kjører de heli. og helt grei park i tärnaby når sesongen begynner og komme seg ; )

i have never been to riksgransen myself but i am from sweden and i have heard that they get pretty much snow up there. and also 1300 kronor is like 190 dollars.

Jag läste en artikle i åka skidor som sagt pris var 1300-1500 kr.

But that seems so damn cheap for a day of riding its ridiculous? it was an issue from 2005, so price probably has gone up since then but even so, it seems like a deal

(getting there is expensive though)

I would like to recommend either Kittelfjäll www.kittelfjall.com ( Kittelparken, I think they have the cheapest heli in the world or summin like that ) and Borgafjäll ( I think the hotel is in charge, give em a call ). You could also check out Ramundberget, alot of snow.

I would rather go to some place further south for heli during mid-winter and gå further north during spring time.

Tack, my girlfriend went to kittelfjall (sounds like 'shit mountain' haha) and she loved it. Good to know it's cheap too, so i will look into that.

Was thinking riksgransen becasue it probably wouldn't be until May, so might have to be further north than tanndalen / kittelfjall... and its more of an adventure. Ill check it out!

Yeah for sure, in May Riksgransen is the place to be. Also, check out arctic elements if your up there.

They have heli in Riks, Björkliden and Abisko.
