yeah, could everyone post points on what they consider left and right wing? especially the difference between communism and fascism. I know the diff, but a friend asked me to explain the dif to them tonight and i couldnt...i was drinkin but whatever

Facts about the election...

The election is over, and despite spending more money than Bush and waging the most expensive campiagn ever, Kerry lost. Keep in mind that BUSH GOT THE MOST VOTES OF ANY PRESIDENT, EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF THE USA.

Thats not the 'religious right', thats not 'stupid people' thats the country making a democratic decision. All you liberals need to realize there aren't as many of you as you'd like to believe, you lost, so deal with it and stop crying.

^are you talking about the patriot act? thats one example of something that was necesary. but overall, the left wing wants bigger government.

Not just the patriot act, but since the beginning of our own country. There was the federalists, and the Anti-federalists. The left wing, wanted no part of any strong central government, until long long hours in the summer, debating it. When on the other hand, the right wing (sort of, because the same issues were not present at the time, but still more traced to the right than the left) was for a strong central authority, who had the ability to tax, make laws, appoint state leaders etc..

what does patriot act stand for... it was a final jeopardy question and i got it right, but i cant remember what it stands for
