so im pretty good at riding switch over my right shoulder but i try to ride switch over my left and stretch and everything before i go sking but cant really ride as good and look as far. i can do swtich 3's and 1's goin over my right shoulder but i natrually spin left sooo...

i was watch push and was wonderin how do u do switch jumps like rory bushfeild where u just look over one shoulder and like spin ur head around the other way to spin swithc?

its pretty tough to time blindside spins like that. I'd just suggest looking over you left shoulder and staggering. I had the same problem a coupke years ago but i started staggering and its way better now. If you don't know what staggering is, its when the foot on the side that the shoulder your looking over is on, is farther back then your other foot. This should help you.. and if you want to see a video of staggering look up some laurent favre videos he is really smooth at it.

yea i no what that is and i do it well on my other side but i just cant seem to do it on that side so idk what to do i guess ill practice it a lot and c how it goes

CARVE!
i used to have that problem.
its just somethin you get used to.
practice switching the shoulder you look over when you turn and shit.

Look over your right shoulder on the inrun, spot the lip of the jump, wind up to your right, continure looking over your right shoulder and right before you hit the lip unwind your arms and let your head go with it. I used to have the same problem as you, but learned how to do this and also how to look over my left shoulder. I suggest doing both.

if ur just gonna b going switch for hitting jumps its not really like nessisary that u need to look over both shoulders. but for just like skiing switch and carving switch id say just stretch alot and the more u ski switch the easier it will b to look both way.

Most people naturally have one shoulder that is easier to look over, due to flexibility. It shouldn't hinder you too much to spot the lip over one shoulder and then spin the other way. Keep practicing looking over both though, especially if you're riding all mountain...

i have the exact same issue with riding switch, and i noticed the same thing with rory. staggering does help but it feels like ur tails are just gonna cross and then eat shit.

i would just practice like hell (full runs looking over your left only), and also do a lot of stretching/yoga type shit off mountain to get a bit more flexible. I also used to ride switch more comfortably looking over my right shoulder despite spinning left naturally, so I took care of that early and now its nothing.

Have you ever tried that? Cause it definitely wouldn't ever work. You need to look at the lip when you're going off, you can't exactly look over one shoulder, then go blind, then go off the jump...not gonna happen.

It's just that one way is going to be much harder, practice, practice, practice.

i had a problem 2 untill my new gf franki sed lets try it upsode down n my view backwards totaly changed i am also great at backflips 2.

but if she reads this tell her she is getting 2 wide.

o sorta have the same problem, i can spin normal both ways for every trick i can do, but i can only look over my left shoulder and spin to the left switch, i can spin to the right, but i have to look over the left, so tech. its a blind spin.. did that make sense? i hope soo

man i had the same problem when i first started learning switch....just practice and force yourself to look over your left shoulder, thats what i did and after a while it will fell natural

psssshhhtt, looking over your shoulder is so played out, its all about sticking your head down between your knees and scoping your line through your legs

jus practice dude. seriously doin blindside like that is asking for pain. i have/had the same issue as you did. jus keep doing it, and force yourself to look over the left shoulder for like a whole day or run or whatever. babysteps yo....itll work out

I forget who it was. iwant to say bibby maybe? but there was a vid of someone doing a cab cork 7 looking over their left shoulder spinning right. It looked soo sick but if you've ever tried it its really really hard. You're alot better off learning how to ride comfortably looking over both shoulders. Its just like rails. Unnatural may feel worse than natural but when your doing 270's its alot easier to learn unnatural than it is to learn rightside 2's. just practice looking over both shoulders
